Warehouses for industry.
Located on the Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate in North Tyneside and designed for UK Land Estates, these warehouses have external parking and service yards. Our engineers coordinated site investigations and designed conventional pad and strip footings as well as floor slabs and the steel framed superstructure. The design also included mezzanine floors, cladding variations and surface water drainage incorporating slot drains, attenuation tanks and other sustainable drainage systems. We provided key technical support to both client and architect and monitored the works during the construction period.
