Alyth Substation
BT Bell were instructed to provide Civil and Structural design services for SSE’s Alyth Substation, a key component in strengthening Scotland’s electricity transmission network.
Our Role
Working in partnership with Siemens, we carried out the design of foundations for the AIS and GIB structures across the site, the structural design of the GIS and Statcom buildings, and the site drainage systems. Our expertise ensured robust, efficient solutions that addressed both the technical challenges and the long-term performance requirements of this critical infrastructure.
