Little Barford

Our provision of specialist technical advice was a key part of the installation of a new turbine generator for the black start power station at Barford in Cambridgeshire. We designed the turbine generator plinth and carried out all steelwork detailing. We also designed foundations for the cooler, exhaust stack, tanks and enclosure structure. However, it was our ability to perform dynamic analysis that really brought value to this project. We used the technique as part of our design of the turbine generator block.
