Langley Castle

Langley Castle was built in 1350 during the reign of Edward III and is set in its own ten acre woodland estate. Our commission included the design of the structural steel frame and raft foundations. This required a high level of building services design coordination as well as a keen eye for the architectural detailing for the project. The pavilion features a sedum roof, structural glazing and slate flanking walls which have been selected to contrast sharply with the 14th Century stone masonry of the castle itself.
