Fyrish

Fyrish substation, located near Alness, is part of the Dounreay Beauly line upgrade, specifically designed to increase the level of renewable energy sources contributing to the national grid. It is a 275/132kV substation currently under construction with the newest generation of gas insulated switchgears and Super Grid Transformers.
